A Beach Walk with Birds

After spending the last ten days practically housebound with the flu and asthma, I finally took myself off the couch and out for a walk. Time to get some fresh air into my lungs and stretch my legs and also gather some new material for this dormant blog.

I drove to the carpark along the river and decided to take a left turn so I could walk closer to the beach. After coming to the end of the trail I wandered off through some woods which took me back to the beach and I followed the beach around to the birdlife conservation area. I’m not sure why I’ve never done this before, but I’ll definitely be doing this again.

Trees for Cee’s Black and White Challenge, if you look closely there’s also a bronze sculpture for Marsha’s PPAC and a bench for Xing-Fu

It looks like Spring is truly here and it was wonderful to get out in the sun once again.

Piers in Black and White

This week for CWBC, it’s a free choice! So just randomly piers came to mind as I have a few.

Have a fabulous weekend everyone!

~ Pick up your Rubbish! ~

Some fun for Cee’s Black and White Challenge this week, it’s all about signs. I thought these were very eye catching. Most people here are very good about picking up rubbish, but a reminder is necessary at times.

I always like leaving a touch of colour to bring them alive.

All these were taken walking along the esplanade at Cottesloe Beach, Western Australia

The Faces of My Treasures

Two for one with these challenges! Cee has challenged us for black and white heads and facial features and Aletta has asked for our treasures for the Lens-Artist challenge.

It was hard to choose one topic for treasure as I have so many, but my two fur boys, Rufus and Zac, are my daily treasures. I treasure my time in the morning with them, drinking my coffee and doing Wordle, while they sit patiently on the couches waiting for their treats. They are very photogenic, but then again I am biased.

Sitting Peacefully

This week’s Black and White challenge from Cee is all about peacefulness and what it means to you.

Stumped on Friday 🎋

I’m having a ball with trees for Becky’s July Squares and also Cee’s Trees or Tree parts. So I’ve gone out on a limb with these ones.

Does anyone know what the above tree is, it’s got me stumped

Faces in Objects

This week Cee has asked for faces in things for CWBC. I’ve found a few that I’ve edited with a bit of colour splash! My favourite thing to do.

I do miss my days out in London
