~ Low Light in Monochrome ~

Ritva has challenged us this week to look at our low light photos and see how they convert to monochrome. I really enjoy these challenges because photo editing has become a new hobby.

So with the above in mind I have been looking through my archives to edit a three photos only, as per Ritva’s request. I am wondering if it would be easier to have one app for photo editing or just keep using the free ones I have. These include Snap Seed, Google and Photoscape X attached to my Mac photos. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Photo of a bike in Monochrome in Hoi An

I played around with the above photo for a while, I should have taken notes! It was taken a few years ago as we were strolling through the walking street in Hoi Ann.

Photo of a winebar sign in Milafontes, Portugal

The above was taken at Vila Nova de Milfontes, Portugal last year. The sun was just setting as we stopped briefly for an evening drink overlooking the ocean. This photo was edited with Snapseed.

I’m not sure if I got the above correct, whether it would be considered low light. I edited this using Photoscape X from my Mac software, leaving a touch of light with some green.
