One for Wednesday (not exactly wordless!) and also for Cee’s CMMC (Close up or Macro).

I spotted this handsome boy/girl on my walk today. Kookaburras don’t mind how close you get and will happily pose for a shot.

Cee has challenged us to find a topic from a photo she has posted. I’m currently in the UK visiting my parents and peering out of the window the other day, I looked straight into these eyes. It was a cold and frosty morning and this bold little thing was obviously looking for food.

Posted as part of Cee’s Midweek Madness Challenge
This week for Cee’s Mid Week Madness Challenge she has give us many choices from her photo. I’ve gone with a nautical theme.

“The storms come and go, the waves crash overhead, the big fish eat the little fish, and I keep on paddling.” – – George R. R. Martin, ‘A Clash of Kings,’

“Smell the sea and feel the sky. Let your soul and spirit fly.”
— Van Morrison, Irish Singer-Songwriter
Cee’s Midweek Madness Challenge – White or Off White

I used the Ribbet App to frame them in white, giving them more definition.

This week’s challenge for CMMC is anything with two S’s in the word.

I’m a tad late, but better late than never!

Cee’s Mid Week Madness challenge this week is anything featuring the letters Q and U. Quay seemed a good word to play with.

Looking forward to the day when I can travel the world again and visit beautiful places like these! Hopefully in the early part of next year. It’s been too long.
On a Thursday I play Mahjong with the ladies from my games group. We play in a beautiful restaurant in City Beach overlooking the ocean. We meet for breakfast first and then get down to playing. I’m only just learning so I come away with a frazzled brain!
I thought this photo was perfect for Cee’s Choose a Topic from my Photo, which I took just this morning.

The blue of the ocean, waves, rocks, people, and coastline – nearly covered it!

Something for Cee’s Midweek Madness, starting or ending with E.
I came across this house boat this morning while out for my exercise. Sitting in the river with a barnacle or three attached. Sadly unredeemable, but once someone’s home. The sky was smoke filled due to a recent bush fire.
