The Lens Artist Challenge this week is brought to us by Johnbo @ Journeys with Johnbo. He’s explained it well and we’re looking for photos that feature compositional elements like lines, patterns, or colours. Maybe we can find all three in one photo.

Bats in fronds, cables, clouds and birds on a wire
Munchkins one and two at the Airship Orchestra event at our local shopping centre.

Munchkin one is seven!

A colourful carousel featuring lines, patterns and colour

Remains of The West Pier in Brighton, designed by Eugenius Birch in 1866. Sadly beyond repair, but glorious in its hey day.

Brighton i360, an observation tower. An eyesore to be sure and not quite fitting with the surrounding Georgian architecture.
Thank you Johnbo for an interesting and entertaining challenge.

Such a beautiful collection you shared, Alison. The gallery is great, especially that carousel. I’m glad you had fun with the challenge.
Thanks Egidii
Love this gallery especially the deck chairs Ali 😀
Thanks Brian..I knew that photo would come in useful 😁
What a sorry sight is that pier, Ali. Your Munchkins always bring a smile though xx
You’ve certainly met the challenge, Alison, with those munchkins and their surrounding patterns, and the birds on the wire underneath that warmly colored sky. My favorite, though, is the carousel. I hope it’s still in use. It looks well cared for.
Thanks Johnbo, yes it was still in use 🙂
Wonderful images for the challenge! My favorite is the two striped chairs on the beach.
Yes very iconic of a British beach!
The Airship Orchestra photo are both fun and unique. Bet the kids loved wandering around there.
Yes they did although it was a strange event!
A nice selection of pictures, all well composed and good examples of the theme.
Thanks Joanne 🙂
Great collection, Alison! Love the first one with the deck chairs and your gallery of lines.
Thanks Sofia, seems it’s the favourite 😊
Beautiful collection of lines and patterns 🙂
Thanks Meg 😊
Lines, lines – great gallery! Loved the chairs.
Thanks Leya 🙂
All terrific and on point Ali – must join the crowd to say I love the blue-striped chair. It’s an image that really tells a story.
Excellent!
Great post.
