Monochrome Madness this week is hosted by Brian @ Bushboy’s World. The theme is “On the Beach“.
I’ve gone back through the archives of many years ago as my recent beach photos have already been posted.

I like the use of a spot of colour. I think it can enhance a photo and create a focal point. I used the photo editor that comes with the S24.
Thanks Brian for an interesting challenge.

So love the suns ray, the use of selective colour and that huge jelly fish. Never seen one that big or that patten before, well spotted 😁
Thanks Brian, fun challenge
That first one is lovely, Ali, and I love the little snippets of colour 🤗🩵
Thanks Jo, I can’t even remember where it was

I see just a hint of a double rainbow in your ‘glimpse of a rainbow’ shot. Everything about that photo is beautiful. My favorite composition is steps to the beach.
Thanks Suzanne, you’re correct it was a double rainbow but could only add that tiny bit of colour otherwise the whole sky was coloured!
Some great uses of selective colour, especially for the sunrays and rainbow shots 🙂
Thanks Sarah, a bit tricky to edit!
Super creative gallery, Alison. I loved this gallery.
Thanks Egidio ☺️
That giant jellyfish is amazing – I have never seen one with spots before
I saw it on one of the river beaches in Perth
Lovely photos Ali. Love the giant jellyfish the best! 👍
Thanks ☺️
Great selection!
Love this display, Alison!
Thanks 😊
Excellent collection of monochromes!
Thank you Robert 😊
Great beach collection. It’s always a little frightening to see jellyfish on the sand and then I’m always glad to not have stepped on one while I was looking at other things 🙂
more scary when you’re in the sea!
Great beach photos Alison.
Thanks Leanne, just commented on your b and w ones but on Brian’s post 😬
