Squares is back once again after a long hiatus. This challenge is hosted by Becky @ The Life of B. May’s topic is about Burgeoning – Move Forward – Reconstruct – Renew.

This photo was taken in Paris last year, a tourist boat moving forward along the River Seine.

  1. Oh yes, the way Notre Dame is rising again from the ashes is a perfect example of renewal and moving forwards!

  2. Great choice, Ali! I watched a documentary on the rebuilding and it’s quite incredible the work they’re doing.

  3. Fantastic to see Notre Dame rising from the neighbourhood again. Excellent choice.

  4. It must have been interesting to watch them match something so unique as they repair Notre Dame. My husband would love to take a river cruise somewhere in Europe next year for our anniversary.

      1. Well, save your pennies, and go with us next June. That’s our anniversary! I have a spring sale book from Viking that Vince put on my desk to look through.

      2. Our anniversary is in June also
I have big plans to visit the US next year as our dear friends are going back to live..They’ve chosen South Carolina

      3. That’s a beautiful state. I’ve been to parts of it briefly on a Civil War Tour I went on several years ago. I loved Charleston.

  5. I am married go a civil engineer and we often stop and watch construction sites. Incredible to think that they have all those long ago skills still.
