Isn’t it odd that waterfalls are white when water is colourless!

Hi A nanny of two and a mum of two adult children, mum to two fur babies and wife of one. I love to travel and up until recently travelled the world, now exploring Western Australia! I play bridge, board games, read dance and blog in my spare time.

  1. Wow who doesn’t love a waterfall? The Icelandic ones are especially impressive, always wanted to go there. Maybe once the world is back to normal (if it ever gets there).

    1. Thanks Jonno, I’m sure you’ll get there in a year or two and that you would love it, so different to everywhere else

  2. Wonderful shots of Gullfoss, a place I’ve visited twice and would happily go back to a third time! We missed Kuang Si Falls in Laos last year, unfortunately – but you can’t see everything 🤔

    1. We loved our five day tour in Iceland but found it incredibly expensive. I’m not sure we will be able to fit in another visit with so many other places to see.

      1. You’re right, it IS expensive. But I’ve never been to the north of the island and would really love to. I have an Icelandic friend and she’s always posting the most amazing photos on Facebook and in her blog!!

  3. I never really thought about it until I was looking for ‘white’ photos for this month’s colour challenge with Jude – I ended up with a pile of waterfalls!

  4. We’ve got very similar photos of the waterfalls in Iceland Alison! I wrote a few posts about Iceland after our visit there in 2018. Not sure we will get to visit again! Love the photos 🙂

    1. Thanks Debbie, it’s such a great place to visit. Not sure if we will ever get back either, too many other unexplored places
