The featured image is titled ‘Treecycle’ by Cecile Williams. It is indeed made from recycled books, wood and screws.
These are more artworks that we discovered on our recent tour of Pemberton, WA. It’s an amazing trail of nature and art, cleverly designed to blend in with the natural surroundings of the forest.
There is a whole community of artists and sculptors in this small town and you can read there story here.

This is Brilliant Alison and tastefully done. I think there are a lot of potential traps in handling a project like this. I think ‘Written in the Wind’ is my favourite.
Thanks so much, I see what you mean I think! That’s why I mentioned artists’ names
Wow, these are amazing works of art! Great find Ali.
Thanks Teresa, there were so many!

I wish the same to you 🙂
I love how well these sit in their environment 🙂 My favourite is ‘Written on the Wind’, it works beautifully against that tree!
Thanks Sarah, I could have walked a bit longer in there but my dear hubby had had enough!
Compromise, compromise eh? It’s more or less our motto while travelling – and at other times too!!
What a wonderful place!
Yes it was very special, thanks Betty 🙂

Glad you named the artists involved, so often they get overlooked in the greater picture. An unusual post but so very interesting. Glad you found this place.
Thanks for your comments Mari

Great find! My favorite is Australia House.

These are excellent Alison
I love how these pieces don’t take away at all from the surroundings, but become so seamlessly part of it. What a lovely place to walk.
It was eye opening Meg, the artists worked so well with natural substances and their surroundings
The trees are lovely and the art blends so well, Alison.
Thanks Jo 😀
P.S I was tempted into Goodreads and nearly didn’t find my way out again.

Art & nature … art in nature! Wow!
Those trees are so very tall – it is incredible how many of the artists managed to work their art around these beauties!
Thanks Ju-Lyn, yes they are so talented and such original works as well.
What wonderful images! I love the sundew and donut in particular but they’re all brilliant.
🙂
Very beautiful trees. Love all from the surroundings. The please looks amazing.
Hi Alison. Thanks so much for visiting my blog, which I’ve just revived after an absence. I loved your WA nature/art adventure! And being from the Atlanta area, I especially liked “Rising from the Ashes.” Happy Tuesday!
