I couldn’t resist Cee’s CBWC challenge for this week. A wonderful opportunity to show off my precious grandchildren. I also successfully mastered colour fill.

These two beautiful children bring the most joy to my life. We are very fortunate to be able to see lots of them. Lachie turns 3 in June and Rosie is almost 8 months. Rosie suffers from Severe Acid Reflux and has her milk fed to her through a tube. We are all hoping that this will gradually improve and be gone by the time she turns one in September. It has been a hard journey for my daughter and her partner, and took a while to be diagnosed. However as you can see Rosie is the happiest baby and is always smiling and laughing out loud at Lachie’s antics.

I never saw a brighter smile! She is adorable, and so is he. So proud of her! Poor little scrap- that must have been a struggle for all of them. Here’s hoping 🙂 🙂
Thanks Jo, they are both so precious
What a lovely smile! Let’s hope things improve for her
Thanks Sue 🙂
What lovely grandchildren, I feel certain her condition will improve in the coming months so that the tube can be removed. Hope your weekend is going well. Marion
Thanks Marion, they are but I’m biased. Enjoy your weekend
They really are a cute pair! Both so photogenic too 🙂 I hope little Rosie’s condition improves and she’ll be able to ditch the tube soon, but she’s clearly delightful despite her difficulties 🙂
Thanks Sarah, there’s nothing like grandchildren to brighten your days
They are both simply adorable and oh so cute. I bet it has been hard on Rosie’s mom.
Yes it’s been a challenge for sure.
They are both beautiful – and big brother looks as though he adores his little sister. I hope she can get rid of the tube, but it doesn’t seem to faze her one bit – such a big smile!
Thanks Anabel, they are both so adorable
You are truly blessed Alison
so sweet, that look like happy kids who enjoy each other!
Happy Grandmother’s Day!
Thanks!
Your grandbabies are so cute! Oh those sweet smiles are just the greatest! Sending all thoughts and prayers for Rosie’s improvement.
Thanks so much 🙂
They are cuties indeed! and I’m so glad you get to see them often!
It is tough to have a child who is ill – it must have been challenging for the parents, and for you.
Two of my three kids had GOR but not to the extent that they needed a feeding tube. It wasn’t recognized in those days that food intolerances were a major cause and could pass through breastmilk, as much as it is considered now. One boy did better getting onto solids, but things did improve when they turned 1 and were more upright. I hope it is similar for your granddaughter. It is not easy to know your child is in pain.
All the photos are delightful and well done and the colour fill. Which app do you use?
Thanks Amanda for your comments. The app is on my Mac, photoscape, colour fill.
👌
So sweet! I hope the reflux gets sorted out. These babies are so lucky they are so loved!
Thanks M&M for your kind thoughts 🙂
These are precious photos, Ali. Hopefully all will get better soon. I am feeling for you too….as a mum I would prefer to suffer myself than see my kids or grandkids suffering. Sending hugs my dear.
Thanks Teresa.
Watching the news with baited breath as we are booked for Melbourne next week 🙄
Oh yeah. Good luck as there was one case again yesterday that came from SA quarantine. But fingers crossed.
Thanks 🙏
Congratulations! I have selected your post to be featured on CBWC.
