“Choose Wisely, Grasshopper” said Master Po

I found this “little” guy under the porch the other day

The quote is in reference to the 1970’s tv show Kung Fu with David Carradine. I used to love this show. Who used to watch it?

Postcards from the Past

My attempts at creating postcards from the past from old photographs! Hosted as past of Friendly Friday by SandyL.

It took me much longer than anticipated, but has kept me occupied on a rainy day!

A trip from many years ago! I had a few spare days between jobs and went on an organised tour from Hong Kong. What a fabulous time I had.

For this I used a website called Crello

My last photo for Bushboy’s last photo of the month challenge and one for Becky’s KindaSquares.

Kinda Scary

Every month I get together with a group of like minded ladies and we have a games night. Playing all kinds of board games and charades. The last one was halloween themed.

Let’s throw caution to the wind

Today’s Six Word Saturday Challenge – hosted by Debbie at Travel with Intent

“You might just fly”

A Walk with Rufus on Saturday

I don’t walk often enough but now Spring is here it’s about time I got out a bit more! Trouble is I don’t like walking alone so I’ve started to take Rufus again. My dear hubby takes both dogs every day for two hours, so Rufus had a little treat this morning.

There are still wildflowers in abundance along the path and I also found a raspberry bush, I was tempted to pick a few, maybe I’ll go back! All the footy teams were out for their Saturday matches.

Sadly I had to leave Zac as the two of them together can’t behave

“Seas the Day, Catch a Wave”

I took these two photos today on my weekly walk along Cottesloe beach. Glorious winter sunshine, although today the breeze was quite chilly. I saw all the surfers trying to catch a wave and wondered how they don’t knock each other off their boards. Walking along the the pathway was so busy today, we were dodging cyclists, runners, dog walkers and other walkers but it’s so nice to walk along by the sea. One of my favourite places to go, although I will wait until the hot summer months before I take a dip!
