Going Home
Everybody rides bikes in Vietnam, old and young alike. The woman on the left doesn’t even have her baby in a sling! The small boys at the front in both photos look like they are driving as well.
I took the above photos from a car next to the bikes, a bit of a blurry result!
Going to and from work and school are my thoughts on the above two photos. I wonder how the man on the left didn’t lose his balance!
The left photo is in Hue and the right, Hanoi.

Hyper Hanoi – October 2016

And no safety helmets either! Leaves me with fond memories of Asia and how my friends would laugh hilariously when I refused to take a motorcycle taxi due to the danger. A very soft Westerner, am I!

I know! We do get Tuk tuks but wouldn’t ever hire a bike although my hubby used to not in busy cities though

Like Mari, I noticed that the children weren’t wearing safety helmets. But the adults were! Crazy. When did you visit Laos?

We visited Laos around five years ago. Such a beautiful country and the people are so kind and gracious
Luang prabang has this special atmosphere about it, very relaxing

From the air it looked like a lot of jungles, winding rivers and deltas and perhaps humidity….?

And more ..there is a great French influence there and the food is a combination of both

Fond memories! What a coincidence that I also remembered my visti to Vietnam with the ON THE WAY challenge. Motorbikes and Vietnam go hand in hand!
